About Manu Ginobili
Manu Ginobili is one of the most successful foreign-born players in NBA history.The Argentinian has won four NBA championships with the San Antonio Spurs.Ginobili is also one of two players who have won NBA and Euroleague titles along with an Olympic gold medal. As a late second-round pick, he defined the odds to become a Basketball Hall of Fame player.Ginobili is a two-time All-Star and was the NBA’s Sixth Man of the Year in 2007-08.For the Spurs, he was regularly been deployed in an important bench role, still averaging high minutes as an expert shooter and high-energy player.In 2004, Ginobili led Argentina to become the first country other than the U.S. to win Olympic basketball gold in 16 years.He also won a bronze medal at the 2008 Games.Ginobili first played professionally in Argentina and in Italy. He was a two-time Italian League MVP for Kinder Bologna.
