Leonard Hamilton played his college basketball at Gaston Community College and the University of Tennessee from 1966 to 1971. After leading the Hurricanes to an NCAA Sweet Sixteen appearance in 2000 he was hired on at Florida State University. Since that time he has led the Seminoles to 251 wins, seven 20-win seasons, four NCAA Tournament appearances and a Sweet Sixteen appearance in 2012. Coach Hamilton was named the 2009 and 2012 ACC Coach of the Year after leading the Seminoles to 25 wins in both seasons and an ACC Tournament title in 2012.
