About Leon Draisaitl
Leon Draisaitl is one of the most promising young scorers in the NHL. The Edmonton Oilers made him the third overall pick of the 2014 NHL Entry Draft. In 2015-16, his first full season, Draisaitl notched 51 points. Draisaitl has competed for Germany in international competition since 2012. His father, Peter, played 146 games for the national team and competed in two Olympics. Prior to joining the Oilers, Draisaitl excelled in the Western Hockey League with the Kelowna Rockets. In 2015, the Rockets won the WHL Championship and he was named playoff Most Valuable Player.
