Kyle Larson Biography

Kyle Larson is a Elk Grove, California native and one of the only Japanese American stock car racers on the circuit. Larson got his start in racing on the kart circuit and was one of the top open-wheel racers in the country as an amateur, winning the 2011 4-Crown Nationals and going on to break the sprint car track record at the Ocean Speedway. In 2012 Earnhardt Ganassi Racing signed Larson to a developmental contract, but it did not take him long to make it on the track with the big boys. After winning his first race in a full-bodied stock car he won again a week later at the World Series of Asphalt. Larson made his NASCAR debut in the 2012 nation touring series and again, won his first event. Since that time he has become one of the top drivers on the NASCAR Xfinity Series, posting 38 top ten finishes and winning both the Treatmyclot.com 300 and History 300 races in 2014.
