About Kris Boyd
Kris Boyd is considered to be one of the best soccer players in the world. A Scotland native, Boyd was the top goal scorer in the history of the Scottish Premier league, scoring 167 goals from 2000 to 2010 while playing for Kilmarnock and the Rangers. As a youngster he played for the Scotland under 21 and Scotland B National Teams and became one of the top strikers in the world. In 2006 he made the move to the big time when he was called upon to play for the Scotland National Team. He has since scored seven goals in international play. His many honors include being named the SPFA Players’ Player of the Year in 2010, Scottish Premier League Player of the Month three times from 2005 to 2009 and being named the Scottish Premier League Top Scorer four times from 2005 to 2010.
