About Justin Rose
Justin Rose is a native of Johannesburg, South Africa. He began playing golf at the age of five, and earned a respected reputation during his days on the junior and amateur circuit. In 1997 he earned a spot on the South African Walker Cup team at the age of 17. The following year he put his name on the map with a fourth place finish at the 1998 Open Championship, earning low amateur honors. With that performance in mind, he turned pro the next day. He has since won six tournaments on the PGA Tour, seven European Tour events, and eight other pro events on the Japan Golf Tour, Sunshine Tour, and PGA Tour of Australasia. In 2007 he won the European Tour Order of Meritt, and finished tied for 5th at the Masters Tournament that same year. Recently Rose has taken his game to new heights, placing third at the 2012 PGA Championship and winning the 2013 U.S. Open.
