Jordan Spieth

Jordan Spieth is a Texas boy, born and raised in Dallas and the pride of St. Monica Catholic School and Jesuit College Preparatory School. While playing at Jesuit College Prep he won the U.S. Junior Amateur in both 2009 and 2011, which made him one of only two players in history to win multiple amateur titles, the other being Tiger Woods. He also finished as the runner-up in the 2008 and 2009 Junior PGA Championships, which earned him a No. 1 ranking in the Polo Golf Rankings as the best junior golfer in the country. His performance also earned him Rolex Junior Player of the Year honors in 2009. In 2012 he turned pro after a standout career at the University of Texas in which he led his team to an NCAA Championship as a freshman and was played on the 2011 Walker Cup team. During his first year on the PGA Tour he earned Rookie of the Year honors after winning the John Deere Classic with an impressive 19 under par performance. In 2014 he had a big year in major tournaments, finishing as the runner-up at the Masters Tournament and placing 17th and 36th at the U.S. Open and The Open Championship respectively. In 2013 he played on the Presidents Cup championship team and also represented the United States on the 2014 Ryder Cup team.
