Joshua Cribbs

Josh Cribbs is one of the great kick returners in NFL history. He was born and raised in Washington, D.C. and was a four sport letterman at Dunbar High School, competing in baseball, football, swimming and basketball. Under his leadership at quarterback the Dillard High School football team won three consecutive DCIAA titles, which earned him a scholarship to play at Kent State University. While playing for the Golden Flashes he set school records with 10,389 yards of total offense, 38 rushing touchdowns, 616 pass completions, 1,123 pass attempts, 7,169 passing yards, and 246 points scored. He also became the only player in NCAA history to lead his team in passing and rushing in four different seasons. In 2005 he was passed over in the NFL Draft, but signed with the Cleveland Browns as a kick returner. He played the first seven seasons of his career in Cleveland and has since seen time with the Oakland Raiders, New York Jets and Indianapolis Colts. His honors include being named to the Pro Bowl three times, earning NFL All-Pro honors twice and being named to the NFL 2000’s All-Decade Team. He is tied for the all-time lead with eight kickoff return touchdowns.
