About Jorge Soler
Jorge Soler is one of the most talented outfielders in baseball and a two-time World Series champion. Soler originally made his debut with the Chicago Cubs in 2014. He won his first championship with the Cubs in 2016 before being traded to the Kansas City Royals that offseason.
In 2019, Soler set a Royals and Cuban-born player record with 48 home runs. He had another milestone moment in 2021 after being traded to the Atlanta Braves. Soler hit three home runs helping the Braves win the World Series, where he was named MVP.
While with the Miami Marlins in 2023, Soler became an All-Star for the first time. He signed as a free agent with the San Francisco Giants that offseason.
Soler came up as a Cuban baseball star, playing for the national team in international competition. He defected from Cuba in 2011, seeking a career in MLB. After establishing his residency in Haiti, Soler signed a nine-year contract with the Cubs.
