Jonathan Quick joined the Los Angeles Kings in 2007 after a stellar amateur career at Avon Old Farms High School and the University of Massachusetts Amherst. While playing at Avon Old Farms he won 53 games and posted 11 shutouts as a goaltender and then headed to UMass Amherst and won 23 games in two years.
After his Kings debut, Quick built a resume as one of the greatest players in team history over 15 seasons. He led LA to two Stanley Cup titles in 2012 and 2014. Quick also was a three-time All-Star selection. The first year that the Kings won the Cup, he won the Conn Smythe Trophy, was an NHL Second Team All-Star and won the Best NHL Player at the ESPY Awards. Quick went on to capture the William M. Hockey stars lay their bodies on the line and they are universally respected for their toughness. The NHL has brought a significant level of exposure to these athletes’ impressive feats. Hockey speakers are also some of the humblest athletes to work with and they are great for corporate groups, charities, universities, faith-based groups, and other organizations. The way that the best hockey speakers connect with audiences on important subjects like teamwork, leadership, and overcoming adversity, makes them valuable for any in-person or virtual event.
