Jeremy McGrath

Jeremy McGrath grew up in sunny California, where being outdoors and doing adventurous activities was encouraged and rewarded. During his younger days he flourished as a BMX rider. However, after being introduced to motocross at the age of 15 he took his career to another level. During his first season in 1989 he finished eighth on the 125cc West Region Supercross circuit and went on to win the 125 West SuperCross title in 1991 and 1992. Overt the next eight years he won a record seventy-two 250cc Main Events and captured an unprecedented seven 250cc supercross championships between 1993 and 2000. His career honors include thirteen 125cc Western Region SX wins, fifteen 250cc AMA National Motocross wins and two 125cc AMA National Motocross wins. Off the track he published his autobiography, Wide Open: A Life in Supercross and was also the subject of another book called “Images of a Champion, which documents his career both on and off the track as the most decorate d motocross and supercross champion in history.
