About Ricky Carmichael
Known as The GOAT, or greatest of all time, Ricky Carmichael is a Motocross racer. Ricky was dominant in his amateur career and led to him turning pro in 1997. Early on he was fast, but he wasnt consistent and that cost him a chance at a title. That wouldnt keep him down because he jumped to the 250 class in 2000 and got his first win at Daytona. Since then Carmichael has gone on to 26 wins in 125/250 AMA Motocross, 48 wins in 250-450 AMA Super cross, 76 wins in 250-450 AMA Motocross, and 150 wins in AMA SX/MX competition. Ricky had done just about all he could do on two wheels so he made a transition to four wheels, and NASCAR. He ran several races in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, but ran primarily in the Camping World Truck Series where he had 1 pole and 18 top 10 finishes in 68 races. He has since returned to motocross as a broadcaster and even designs the race course for the events at Daytona each season.
