About Jared Sullinger
Jared Sullinger was a college basketball star who went on to play in the NBA and professionally overseas. In 2012 he joined the Boston Celtics as a 2nd round pick out of Ohio State University. While playing for the Buckeyes from 2010 to 2012 he earned consensus First Team All-American honors in consecutive years after being named both USBWA National Freshman of the Year and Big Ten Freshman of the Year in 2011. Since joining the Celtics in 2012 he has been a valuable asset for his team off the bench. In 2012 he averaged 6 points and 6 rebounds in 19.8 minutes per game for the Celtics and stepped it up in 2013, averaging 13.3 points and 8.1 rebounds in 27 minutes per game. In 2014 he was chosen to participate in the BBVA Rising Stars Challenge and has since become a household name for both his style and skill on the court.
