About Jamario Moon
Jamario Moon has enjoyed a long 13-year career in professional basketball. In 2001 he entered the NBA Draft after averaging 20.1 points and 8.7 rebounds a game at Meridian Community College but went undrafted. Over the next seven years he worked his way up to the NBA through the NBA D-League, WBA and international leagues. In 2007 he signed a free-agent contract with the Toronto Raptors and averaged 8.5 points and 6.2 rebounds a game, earning him NBA All-Rookie Second team honors. That same season he competed in the NBA Rookie/Sophomore Challenge and was also a competitor in the NBA Slam Dunk Competition. He remained with the Raptors until he was traded to the Miami Heat in 2009. In five NBA seasons from 2007 to 2011 he averaged 6.3 points and 4.3 rebounds while also seeing time with the Cleveland Cavaliers, L.A. Clippers and Charlotte Bobcats. Since 2012 he’s seen action in the NBA D-League and also played in both Greece and Venezuela.
