Howie Schwab Biography

Howie Schwab was an institution at ESPN before he ever appeared on television. Schwab originally joined the network in 1987 and steadily up the ranks on the production side. He was known for the voluminous amount of statistical information that he was able to retain and share with ESPN talent to help aid them in show preparation. Schwab then got several on-air roles that showed off his sports knowledge. He was the resident Couch Potato on ESPN's "First Take" and a fixture on ESPNews' Sunday Fantasy Insider. From 2004-06, Schwab was the main star of the sports trivia show "Stump the Schwab." He continued to work for the network in production until 2013.
