About Doris Burke
Doris Burke is one of the most knowledgeable basketball broadcasters working today. Burke covers the NBA and college basketball for ESPN. She does sideline reporting, analyst work, and occasionally is a play-by-play voice. Her broadcasting career began as an analyst for the women’s basketball games at her alma mater, Providence. That also led to greater experience with women’s and men’s Big East game son television. Burke started with ESPN in 1997 as an analyst on their WNBA coverage. She is a member of the Providence College Hall of Fame and left school as the all-time leader in assists. Burke is from West Islip, New York.
