About Hillbilly Jim
Jim Morris, better known by his ring name of Hillbilly Jim, is a retired professional wrestler. Before appearing in the WWE, Jim wrestled in the CWA as Harley Davidson, winning the tag team championships with partner Dirty Rhodes. Jim made his WWE debut in 1984 under a “fan turned wrestler” gimmick, and he was immediately thrust into the main event, competing alongside WWE legends Hulk Hogan and Roddy Piper. After a broken leg kept him out of action for several months, he re-debuted as Hillbilly Jim, a likeable fan favorite who often opposed the heels of the WWE. His first appearance at WrestleMania came in 1986 as part of a battle royal, and he appeared at a handful of major Pay per Views throughout his career. Following his retirement in 1993, Jim has made many WWE returns as well as many other appearances for various independent wrestling organizations.
