About Jimmy Hart
Jimmy Hart is one of the best-known personalities in the history of the professional wrestling industry. Hart got his start in pro wrestling as a manager in the early 1980’s and helped lead such notable wrestlers at Hulk Hogan, Bret Hart, and Jerry “The King” Lawler to worldwide acclaim. In 1987 Hart was named Pro Wrestling Illustrated’s Manager of the Year and went on to earn that title a second time in 1994. With his signature megaphone always at his side, he was always promoting and standing alongside his wrestlers on their way to global championship stardom. Prior to joining the WWE and WCW as a manager he was a member of The Gentry’s, which posted a top five hit on the 1965 Billboard Hot 100 with their hit song “Keep on Dancing”. Outside the ring “The Mouth of the South”, as his fans know him, has also served as a music executive and composer, and made a name for himself as one of the most respected figures in the entertainment business.
