Greg Valentine

Greg “The Hammer” Valentine dropped out of college and became a professional wrestler in 1970. When he came on the wrestling scene he initially performed under the ring names “Baby Face Nelson”, “Johnny Fargo” and “Johnny Valentine Jr.” before using his true identity later in his career. From 1986 to 1978 he wrestled in the National Wrestling Alliance before heading to the World Wide Wrestling Federation in 1978. In 1981 he moved back to the National Wrestling Alliance, where he became one of the most popular wrestlers in the world. He would end up finishing his career in the WWF, which would become the WWE in the 2000’s. In 2004 he took his place among the greatest wrestlers of all-time in the WWE Hall of Fame. Since his retirement he has traveled the country speaking at events and sharing his Christian faith with many organizations. He’s also been a valuable ambassador for World Impact Wrestling, a Christian wrestling organization.
