Herculez Gomez is a former professional football player who last played in MLS. Gomez began his soccer career with Cruz Azul in 2001, competing in the Mexican First Division. Later that year, Gomez signed with the Los Angeles Galaxy of the MLS, and played with the team for four seasons, scoring 16 goals. In his 13 year career, Gomez has played for multiple teams, ranging from the MLS to various Mexican leagues. He has scored 81 goals in club play, and currently plays in the LIGA MX. Along with his club play, Gomez also played for the United States National Team, scoring six goals in 22 appearances during his six years on the team. With the U.S., Gomez has won the CONCACAF Gold Cup.
