About Gretchen Walsh
Gretchen Walsh is one of the brightest Team USA stars on the Olympic stage in Paris. Walsh set a new world record in the 100-meter butterfly. She has also set a slew of American records in the pool, many of them obtained while she swam at the University of Virginia.
Walsh was an 18-time NCAA Champion and 21-time All-American at UVA. She also collected three medals at the 2023 World Championships.
Outside of the pool, Walsh was an early adopter of NIL rules in college sports, launching a swimsuit line with her sister, Alex, for Sporti in 2022.
