About Goran Dragic
Goran Dragic signed with the Phoenix Suns in 2008 at the age of 22 after a decorated career overseas. Born in Ljubljana, Slovenia, Dragic was considered a basketball prodigy growing up and became a top NBA prospect during his days in the Slovenian professional leagues. Although his NBA career started out slow he has come on like a storm over the past three seasons, taking his 2012 scoring average of 11.7 points per game and raising his play considerably in 2013 and 2014, averaging 14.7 points in 2013 and 20.3 points in 2014. For his epic rise to stardom in 2014, he was honored with 3rd Team All-NBA honors and was named the 2013-14 NBA Most Improved Player.
After one final season in Phoenix, Dragic was traded to the Miami Heat where he became an All-Star in 2018. He also helped the team reach the NBA Finals in 2020. In 2021, Dragic was traded to the Toronto Raptors. He signed with the Chicago Bulls the following offseason and after joining the Milwaukee Bucks in 2023, he retired later that year.
