About Francisco Lindor
Francisco Lindor is one of the best shortstops in baseball with the New York Mets. In 2015, he had a strong debut season with the Cleveland Indians after being called up in June. Lindor was best towards the end of the season, hitting .362 in September on the way to American League Rookie of the Month honors. For the year, he hit .312 with 12 home runs and 51 RBI. Lindor finished his first season second in AL Rookie of the Year balloting. He picked up right where he left off in 2016, hitting .306 over baseball's first half and getting named to his first All-Star team. The success for Lindor was something that was expected for a long time. The Indians originally drafted him out of high school in the first round of the 2011 MLB Draft. He was also a 2012 Futures Game participant and rated Cleveland's best prospect by Baseball America entering the 2013 season.
