About Filip Forsberg
Filip Forsberg is a star and alternate captain for the Nashville Predators. Forsberg was originally selected in the first round of the 2012 NHL Entry Draft by the Washington Capitals, but has only played professionally stateside for the Predators. He originally debuted for the franchise after several years of playing in Sweden in 2013. Forsberg was named an All-Star and to the All-Rookie Team in his first full season, 2015. That year he became the first Nashville player to score a hat trick in the playoffs. In 2016, Forsberg set a team record with 33 goals. The team reached a new level with him in 2017 when they made it to their first-ever Stanley Cup Final.
