About Erriyon Knighton
Erriyon Knighton has taken the track and field world by storm. At the age of 17, he became the youngest male athlete to qualify for the U.S. Olympic track team since Jim Ryun in 1964. Knighton has set the under-18 record in the 200 meters and the u-20 record that was previously held by Usain Bolt. His new record-breaking times were set at the U.S. Olympic Trials which qualified him for the Tokyo Games even though he is still a senior at Hillsborough High School in Tampa, Florida. Knighton was even a top high school football prospect at one point before deciding to turn pro and forfeit his eligibility.
