About Eduardo Perez
Eduardo Perez came to America from Puerto Rico to play college baseball at Florida State University. In 1991 as a junior Perez batted .370 and helped lead the Seminoles to the College World Series. Following that season was drafted by the California Angels and just two seasons later made his major league debut. In his first game for the Angels, Perez started with a walk but followed that up with a double and a home run later in the game. Perez went on to spend 13 seasons in the MLB with 8 different teams and ended his career in 2006 with a .247 average and 79 home runs. After his playing career, Perez joined ESPN right away as an analyst for Baseball Tonight and continued with the network until 2011 when he made an attempt at a coaching career. In 2014 Perez once again joined ESPN and currently serves as one of the networks top baseball analysts.
