About Davis Tarwater
Davis Tarwater is a former competitive swimmer who reached the pinnacle of his career at the 2012 Olympics. He ran in the heats of the 4x200-meter freestyle relay and took home gold with Team USA. Tarwater participated in four U.S. Olympic Trials. He is a former American record holder in the 200-meter butterfly. Tarwater swam for the U.S. at three World Championships and won a gold with the 4x200 m freestyle relay team in 2009. He is one of the greatest swimmers in the history of the University of Michigan. Tarwater was a three-time NCAA champion,won six Big Ten titles and was a 13-time All-American. He set three Big Ten and six school records for the Wolverines. As a senior, Tarwater won the Big Ten Medal of Honor.
