About Dave Aranda
Dave Aranda is the head coach at Baylor University and he is regarded as one of the best defensive minds in college football. Aranda was highly -regarded during a four-year tenure as the defensive coordinator at LSU, which ended with the Tigers winning a national championship in 2019. He also had three top ten defenses in as many years as the defensive coordinator at Wisconsin. Aranda has also been a defensive coordinator at Hawaii and Utah State. Aranda attended Redlands High School in California and California Lutheran for college, the two places where he would start his coaching career. He got his first opportunity in Division 1 football as a graduate assistant at Texas Tech in 1999. Aranda has also spent time coaching at Houston, Delta State and Southern Utah.
