About Darcy Tucker
Darcy Tucker had a lengthy standout hockey career. He starred in junior hockey and was part of the Kamloops Blazers three Memorial Cup-winning teams in 1992, 1994 and 1995. Tucker was a two-timeWest First Team All-Star in the Western Hockey League. The Montreal Canadiens made him a sixth-round pick in the 1993 NHL Draft. Tucker made his NHL debut with the Canadiens in 1995 and spent his first three seasons with the franchise. He also played for the Tampa Bay Lightning for three years. Tucker made his greatest impact with the Toronto Maple Leafs after being traded there in 2000. He spent eight seasons in Toronto before ending his career with the Colorado Avalanche. Tucker was known as an agitator and he racked up 1,410 penalty minutes in his career. In retirement, he became a certified player agent.
