About Cory Thiesse
Cory Thiesse is an American curler and a historic Olympic medalist. At the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milano Cortina, she and partner Korey Dropkin won silver in mixed doubles curling, becoming the first-ever Olympic medal for the United States in that discipline and making Thiesse the first American woman to medal in any Olympic curling event. A standout junior, she won multiple U.S. Junior Championships and competed at World Juniors. She served as an alternate on the U.S. women's team at the 2018 PyeongChang Olympics before making her full debut in 2026. Thiesse is a three-time U.S. women's champion (2021, 2023, 2024) and has excelled in both women's and mixed doubles, including earning World Mixed Doubles medals.
