About Cole Caufield
Cole Caufield quickly became an NHL star when he came up with the Montreal Canadiens in 2021. Just a few months removed from college, Caufield was a key cog in helping the franchise become the last in the league to qualify for the playoffs. Then, he was even bigger in the Canadiens march to their first Stanley Cup Final since 1993. He scored four goals in six games to help Montreal get past the Las Vegas Golden Knights in the Conference Finals. Caufield had just recently been a college star at Wisconsin, where he won the Hobey Baker Award in 2021. He also holds the USA Hockey National Team Development Program's goal record. The Canadiens originally selected him in the first round of the 2019 NHL Entry Draft.
