About Clark Lea
Clark Lea brings a tremendous pedigree on the defensive side of the ball as the head coach at Vanderbilt. Lea also has a unique connection to the school as an alum and Nashville native. He spent four seasons at Notre Dame before coming to Vandy, with the last three as defensive coordinator. Lea had previously been a linebackers coach at Wake Forest, Syracuse, Bowling Green and UCLA. He actually began his coaching career at UCLA prior to taking a position at South Dakota State. Lea spent two years playing football for the Commodores after starting his collegiate tenure as a baseball player.
