About C.J. Watson
After an impressive 4 year career with the Tennessee Volunteers, CJ Watson for some reason went undrafted in the 2006 NBA Draft. Under Bruce Pearl, Watson made his way up the Volunteer record book, ending his college career as second all-time in both assists (577) and steals (198). After going undrafted but unwilling to give up on his career as a professional basketball player, Watsom went to Europe where he played in both Italy and Greece. After a 2006 season in Europe, Watson came back to the states and entered the NBA D-League where he was the third leading scorer. Watson was signed for a full year by the Golden State Warriors after a few short term contracts, having a career high 40 point game in 2010. Watson was traded to the Chicago Bulls where he became a starter after PG Derrick Rose suffered an ACL tear. Watson has since moved to the Brooklyn Nets and Indiana Pacers where he continues to play today.
