About Catarina Macario
Catarina Macario is a star for the U.S. women's national soccer team. Macario got called-up to the senior national team in 2020, becoming the first naturalized citizen to play for Team USA. She originally moved to the U.S. from Brazil at the age of 12.
After a banner college career at Stanford, Macario has also played for the club teams Lyon and Chelsea in Europe. For the Cardinal, she was a two-time winner of the Hermann Trophy, and just the sixth woman to ever win that award twice.
