About Carl Frampton
Carl Frampton is a renowned boxer hailing from Ireland who went 28-3 in his career. He won the WBA and IBF super-bantamweight titles as well as the WBA featherweight championship. Frampton originally captured the belt by winning a 12-round decision result over undefeated Leo Santa Cruz in 2016. He was previously the unified WBA and IBC super-bantamweight title holder. With his featherweight triumph, Frampton became the first boxer from Nothern Ireland to have been a world title winner in two weight classes. He originally made his professional debut in 2009. As an amateur boxer, Frampton won over 100 fights. He was also the silver medalist at the 2007 European Union Amateur Boxing Championships.
