About Carey Hart
Carey Hart is currently a off-road truck racer and a retired motorcycle racer as well as freestyle motocross. Hart began motorcycle riding at four years old when his father bought him his first motorcycle. Hart quickly took to riding and at 6 years old, he began competing in races. At 18 years old, Hart turned professional and competed in the AMA supercross circuit. In 1996, just three years after turning professional, Hart was one of the first riders to start competing in freestyle motocross and he was the first rider to publicly perform the superman seat grad at IFMA events. During the 2001 X Games, Hart attempted the backflip for a second time, but he suffered a bad crash coming off of his bike. The crash caused Hart to have several broken bones. Hart has won five gold medals at different events as well as two silvers and three bronze medals. He has appeared in movies as well as television shows as himself.
