About Bill Simmons
After grad school, Bill Simmons spent eight years working various jobs before gaining the attention of ESPN and landing a job with them. Simmons unique writing style which is characterized as intermingling sports knowledge and analysis while being written from a passionate fans perspective. From his work, Bill has become one of the most widely read sports writers in the country and is regarded as one of the people that grew sports writing on the internet. In 2007, the Sports Business Journal named Simmons as the 12th-most influential person in online sports.
