About Alex Verdugo
Alex Verdugo is an outfielder for the New York Yankees. Verdugo originally made his major league debut for the Los Angeles Dodgers during the 2017 season. In 2018, he was named a midseason and postseason All-Star in the Pacific Coast League. Verdugo first gained notoriety before his major league debut when he participated for the Mexican national team in the 2017 World Baseball Classic. Los Angeles originally selected him in the second round of the 2014 MLB Draft.
