Alex Reyes Biography

Alex Reyes set the baseball world on fire immediately upon beginning his career with the St. Louis Cardinals. Reyes set a major league record with 24 straight saves to begin his career. He was also named an All-Star in his first year as Cardinals closer in 2021. Reyes originally debuted in the St. Louis bullpen in 2016. That year, he was named the organization's top prospect by Baseball America. While in the minors, Reyes made two appearances in the All-Star Futures Game.
