Alex Collins Biography

Alex Collins is a running back for the Baltimore Ravens.  The Seattle Seahawks selected him in the fifth round of the 2016 NFL Draft.  Collins had a true breakout campaign as a junior in 2015 at the University of Arkansas.  He rushed for 1,577 yards and a school-record 20 touchdowns.  For his tremendous performance, Collins was named to the All-Southeastern Conference second team.  He was able to cap his career by running for 185 yards and three touchdowns in a Liberty Bowl victory over Kansas State.  Collins was also named Liberty Bowl MVP.  He also ran for over 1,000 yards in his freshman and sophomore campaigns while splitting time with Jonathan Williams.  Collins was the first freshman to ever run for 300 yards in his first three games.  That strong start to the year led to his recognition as the 2013 SEC Freshman of the Year.
