About Yoenis Cespedes
Yoenis Cespedes is one of the best sluggers to ever come out of Cuba. Cespedes made his major league debut with the Oakland A's in 2012. He won back-to-back Home Run Derby contests in 2013 and 2014. During that 2014 season, Cespedes was named an All-Star for the first time and traded to the Boston Red Sox. The following year, he began the season with the Detroit Tigers, but finished off with the New York Mets. Cespedes was a key cog in the Mets late run to the World Series and won his first Gold Glove for his play in left field. In 2016, he was named to his second All-Star team and won a Silver Slugger Award. Cespedes played in New York through the 2020 season.
