About Tyronn Lue
Tyronn Lue is the head coach of the Los Angeles Clippers. Lue previously had a four-year run as the head coach of the Cleveland Cavaliers, making three NBA Finals appearances and winning the championship in 2016. Lue was promoted to the top job in Cleveland after two seasons as associate head coach. He began his coaching career with assistant jobs for the Boston Celtics and Clippers. Lue garnered respect around the league during an 11-year playing tenure that saw him win two NBA titles with the Los Angeles Lakers. He posted career averages of 8.5 points and 3.1 assists per game after being the 23rd pick in the 1998 NBA Draft out of the University of Nebraska.
