About Tyron Smith
Tyron Smith was a high school All-American and ranked as the #1 overall offensive tackle when he accepted a scholarship to attend the University of Southern California to play tackle for the Trojans. Smith became the starting tackle in his sophomore season, continuing to improve until he was named First-Team All-Pac 10 and winning the conferences top offensive lineman award as junior in 2011. Forgoing his senior season at USC, Smith was the first offensive lineman selected in the 2011 NFL Draft when he was picked 9th overall by the Dallas Cowboys. He was named to the All-Rookie team following his first season and in 2013 solidified himself as one of the top tackles in the game with his first of two consecutive Pro Bowl appearances and followed it up by being named First-Team All-Pro following the 2014 season.
