Tristan Thompson

Tristan Thompson has been a reliable contributor and a winner at the highest level during his NBA career. He first made news as a prep star, leading his high school to two National Championships. He was also named a McDonald’s All-American as well as a Jordan Brand Classic All-American. Thompson then moved onto college where he averaged 13.1 points and 7.8 rebounds in his time playing for the Texas Longhorns. He won the team's Most Valuable Player Award in the 2010-11 season and was also in the top 5 of voting for the Wayman Tisdale Award given to the National Freshman of the Year.

Thompson became the four overall selection in the 2011 NBA Draft going to the Cleveland Cavaliers, where he spent the first nine seasons of his career. He was named to the NBA All-Rookie Second Team in 2012 and became a permanent starter the following year. In 2016, Thompson won an NBA title with the Cavs. He went on to play for the Boston Celtics, Sacramento Kings and Indiana Pacers before landing with the Chicago Bulls in 2022.
