Tony Kornheiser

Tony Kornheiser is a well-known sportswriter and sports television show host. Tony began his career in the 1970's in New York when he wrote for Newsday and The New York Times where he gained experience and credibility. It was that experience that helped him to secure a position with ESPN in 1997 where he wrote columns primarily for ESPN The Magazine. Kornheiser is known best to the mainstream public for his television work, which began in 1988 when he appeared on and guest hosted ESPN's The Sports Reporters. Tony worked as part of the crew for ESPN's Monday Night Football from 2006 to 2008 while also still co-hosting Pardon the Interruption. He is best known for his work as co-host of the program Pardon the Interruption since 2001 with Michael Wilbon. Tony helped propel the program to become the networks highest rated sports talk show, and continues to co-host the program to this day.
