About Tommy John

Tommy John pitched for 26 seasons in the Major Leagues for the Cleveland Indians, Chicago White Sox, Los Angeles Dodgers, New York Yankees, California Angles, and Oakland Athletics. When he retired as a Yankee in 1989 he had amassed 288 career victories, which ranks him seventh all-time among left-handed pitchers. With that win total, a career 3.34 ERA, and 2,245 strikeouts in 4,710 innings, Tommy John is the 67th ranked pitcher statistically of all-time.
