About Tom Wilson
Tom Wilson is a Canadian right winger and alternate captain for the Washington Capitals. Wilson was the 16th pick of the first round in the 2012 NHL Draft. He has become a major part of the team due to his leadership and impressive skills. Wilson was a key part of the 2018 Stanley Cup championship for the Capitals. In 2025, he had his best year to date, scoring a career high 33 goals for the team. Off the ice, he is active in community outreach through his “Forty Three’s Friends” program and was the Capitals’ 2025 nominee for the King Clancy Memorial Trophy, recognizing leadership and humanitarian work.
