About Tom Thibodeau
Tom Thibodeau is the head coach of the New York Knicks after previously serving in that capacity with the Chicago Bulls and Minnesota Timberwolves.Thibodeau got his start incoaching following his graduation from Salem State, staying as an assistantwith the team until being hired as an assistant atHarvard in 1985. In 1989, Thibodeau jumped to theNBA with the Minnesota Timberwolves. Over the years, Thibodeau evolvedinto one of the league’s topassistants serving positions with the Spurs, 76ers, Knicks, Rockets, and Celtics. To this day,Thibodeauhas one NBA Title, coming in 2008 with the Boston Celtics. In 2010, Thibodeau interviewed with theChicago Bulls for their vacant head coaching position, earning the job and leading the Bulls to a 62-20record, tying the record for most wins by arookie head coach.
