About Todd McShay
Todd McShay was a great high school quarterback and played some football in college at the University of Richmond. However, after earning his B.A. from Richmond he pursued another career in football at the scouting level. In 1998 he took a job as an intern with an NFL Scout and worked his way into a position at a company called “The War Room”, which eventually became “Scout’s Inc.” and was purchased by ESPN, which is how McShay got his start at ESPN. If fans want to know something about the NFL in regards to scouting top prospects, McShay is the guy to talk to. As an expert analyst he analyzes scouting information to provide an in depth look at the full prospect picture so that fans know where their favorite players might be going. On ESPN, McShay appears on a variety of different shows including ESPNU Coaches Spotlight, SportsCenter, the NFL Draft and on ESPN Radio.
