About Tim Cowlishaw
Tim Cowlishaw has developed the reputation as being one of the most knowledgeable voices in all of sports during his over twenty year career as a sportswriter with the Dallas Morning News. After earning his degree from the University of Texas at Austin he joined the Dallas Morning News in 1989 and began his career as the beat writer for the Dallas Cowboys, Dallas Stars and Texas Rangers. He also covered the San Francisco Giants and Oklahoma Sooners. Over time his reputation grew and he joined ESPN as a panelist on the hit show Around the Horn and also became the lead reporter for ESPN2’s NASCAR Now. In 2013 Cowlishaw published a book called “Drunk On Sports”, which chronicles his life and struggles during his career in sports.
